For Alumni
A geographer can leave the sofas, but the sofas don’t leave the geographer. People who have graduated from geography at the University of Helsinki can join MaO as an alumni member. With this we can develop the communication and collaboration between current students and alumni. People who have not graduated from UH’s geography but have otherwise justified connections to MaO can also be admitted as members. The members are approved by the board.
With the form below you can join MaO as an alumn member. In 2024, the joining fee is 20 €. When joining, alumni can also make a donation to MaO. The fee is paid to MaO:s account: FI57 6601 0003 4897 70
So that we know it is you joining, please pay the fee from an account in your own name. If this is not possible, contact our treasurer.

Benefits of alumni membership:
– Info about events open to alumni, such as after works, and Ice Age parties.
– Mantu straight to your email.
– Info about open positions in the department of Geosciences and geography.
